High-Speed Pursuit Ends In Casper Home
K2's Ophelia Young reports, email@example.com:
A routine traffic stop last night ended in a truck crashing into a house.
Just moments before the wreck, 22-year-old Clyde Mentzer admitted to traveling at over 100 miles per hour. Casper police first noticed him at the intersection of CY and Poplar shortly before 12:30 a.m. last night.
The officer followed him down 13th Street to McKinley where he lost control of his vehicle. Fortunately, the only resident of the wrecked home was not hurt.
Mentzer was treated for lacerations to his head. He is expected to face charges soon. Wyoming Highway Patrol hopes he is never allowed to drive again.
