City Council Proposes Makeshift Daycare Ordinances
At the end of June Jennifer Person was denied her request to open a school-aged daycare center. She was denied because the new location was in a Residential Zone A, and according to city ordinances, daycare centers aren't permitted in Residential Zone A. Last Tuesday Riverton City Council created a few proposed ordinance alterations to accommodate child daycare centers in that zone. The first public hearing was held last night and K2 Reporter Xavier Walton has the latest.
