From roasting marshmallows on the grill to carving watermelons, this is a sure fire way to beat the heat!
Here are the recipes so you can easily create these treats at home! Ingredients: 1/3 cup diced kiwi 1/3 cup diced watermelon 1/3 cup diced strawberries 1/3 cup diced pineapple ¼ cup fresh pineapple juice or orange juice Directions Combine diced fruit into a bowl and mix together. Fill 5 oz plastic cups with the fruit mixture Add 1 Tablespoon of juice to each cup Insert a craft stick into each cup Place cups in freezer for a few hours, or until firm To remove from a cup, run the outside of the cup under warm water for a few seconds Snicker Salad A huge thank you Linda Case Butler for sending us a delicious Snickers salad recipe! I’ve tried this, and let me tell you, it is fantastic. It’s everything you want in a summer treat, and more. Ingredients 1 bag of bite size Snickers, cut in half 1 Gala apple, cored and cut into bite size pieces 1 Red Delicious Apple, cored and cut into bite size pieces 1 Granny Smith Apple, cored and cut into bite size pieces 1 package of Vanilla instant pudding, 3.5 oz. Prepared 16 oz. Cool Whip Directions Mix the pudding and Cool Whip in a large mixing bowl with a beater Fold in the apples and Snickers pieces Chill before serving Cream Soda Floats Root beer floats are pretty self explanatory; however, we’ll throw a little twist by using some cream soda instead of root beer. Ingredients I tub of vanilla ice cream A few bottles of your favorite cream soda (suggested: IBC) 1 can of whip cream Directions Scoop 1 or 2 scoops of ice cream into a glass Slowly pour the cream soda into the glass, allowing the fizz to settle. Fill the glass with cream soda Spray a little whip cream on top of the glass Serve with a straw and a long spoon
