NCHS Threat Press Release
Press Release from NC School District:
October 29, 2012
The
Natrona County School District has been made aware of a Halloween-day
threat of violence made against Natrona County High School (NCHS).
Local
law enforcement agencies are aware of the threat and are working with
District and campus employees to ensure the safety of all students and
staff.
Oct.
31 will be a regular school day, however, due to the threat, parents of
students at NCHS may choose to allow their children to stay home from
school on Wednesday, Oct. 31, using the same process they use on any
other school day.
As on every Halloween, Natrona County School District urges all community members to exercise caution.
If you have any concerns, please contact the Natrona County School District Superintendent Joel Dvorak’s office at 253-5222.
