The latest statistics show Natrona County continues to add more jobs than anywhere else in Wyoming.

Numbers from the first quarter of 2012 say that 2,049 new jobs were added to Natrona County's payroll. Not surprisingly, the mining industry, which includes oil and gas, led the way.

The average paycheck in Natrona county went up by $60 a week, when compared to the same time last year.

Laramie County was in second place in total jobs added, coming in with 843 new positions, and an average paycheck increase of $56 a week.

The two largest counties accounted for nearly half of the total new jobs in the state.
