Three Natrona County Schools Briefly Locked Down

Three schools in Natrona County were briefly locked down Friday as police looked for a suspect on the West side of Casper.
At around 11:45 Friday morning, Police received a report of a possible hostage situation Casper Police Chief Chris Walsh said in a post on the Department's Facebook page. Walsh said the suspect was reportedly in a car that was driving around.
Police requested that Oregon Trail Elementary, Paradise Valley Elementary, and Alcova Elementary go on lock down as a precaution.
The lock down at the three schools was lifted just before 1 p.m. Friday afternoon.
In the Facebook post, Walsh said suspect had been located and said there were no remaining threats from the incident.
