43 Wolves Killed During Hunting Season

Wyoming hunters took nine less wolves than the quota established for the state's first ever wolf hunt. 
Wildlife officials say a total of 43-wolves were killed in the season which ended on Monday. The quota was 52 wolves. 
26 other wolves were taken in areas outside the designated hunting zones. In those areas, wolves are considered predators and can be shot on sight.
