WY Unemployment Rate Falls Below 5%

Overall unemployment in Wyoming has fallen below 5%.
In Natrona County, December figures show that 4.4% of the workforce is unemployed. That's down one-tenth of a percent since November.
However, the jobless rate went up in both Laramie and Fremont Counties. Laramie County was up one-tenth of a percent to 5.6%, while Fremont county rose two-tenths of a percent to 6.2%.
The statewide average fell two-tenths of a point to 4.9%, which compares to a national rate of 7.8%.
