A Casper man has filed a class action lawsuit against Golden Corral. The suit accuses the restaurant of serving food infected with norovirus and allowing sick employees to come to work.

The lawsuit, which was filed in federal court Friday afternoon, comes one day after a report from the Wyoming Department of Health concluded that Golden Corral was responsible for a norovirus outbreak that sickened hundreds last year. That report also confirmed that Golden Corral employees came to work showing symptoms of norovirus.

The suit was filed by Paul Feyhl of Casper and names anyone who ate at Golden Corral during the outbreak as an additional plaintiff.

Feyhl will be represented by a local law firm as well as a Seattle-based firm that specializes in food safety lawsuits.

The lawsuit seeks refunds for all who became sick after eating at Golden Corral, in addition to any consequential damages.
