The State Senate on Thursday gave final approval to a bill that would raise Wyoming's gas tax by 10-cents a gallon. The measure passed third reading on an 18-12 vote.
Governor Mead called on the legislature to pass the tax in his state of the state address, and is likely to sign the bill into law. The increased tax will take effect on July 1st.
