Low Run-Off Expected

The Bureau of Reclamation says spring run-off in the North Platte River system will be far below normal.
The runoff for the entire system above Glendo Dam is only expected to be 32% of average. Current water storage is about 42% of average.
Wyoming area reclamation manager Coleman Smith says all water users should try to conserve as much as possible.
Ironically, river users can expect water levels to go up dramatically by early next week, as officials begin the annual flushing of the river below Gray Reef reservoir.
