Common Sense vs. GPS in Wyoming

A GPS or other type of electronic navigational device can make find your way around a lot easier. But in winter weather in Wyoming, following directions from a computer cannot only get you lost, but put you in a life threatening situation.
Just this week, four Northwest College students had to be rescued from the Owl Creek Mountains after they got stuck using a GPS device that told them to cross the mountains via a seldom-used road.
