The big snowstorms over the last two weeks caused major headaches for drivers. But, the storms have dumped several inches of precious precipitation in the mountains of central and southeastern Wyoming.

Mountain snowpack levels are now near normal levels, especially in areas that saw skimpy snowfall during the winter.

For farmers and ranchers dealing with two years of drought, that moisture could make all the difference.
