In the last five years the abuse of prescription drugs has become so popular it ranked second only to marijuana as the most commonly abused drug in America.

It's because of that statistic the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration is more concerned than ever with the unused pills lying around in your home.

K2's Xavier Walton takes an in-depth look at the rampant epidemic of abused prescription drugs.

This weekend more than 15 cities in Wyoming participated in the D.E.A's "Drug Take Back."

The program was created several years ago to help curb the abuse of prescription drugs and last year the D.E.A. collected more than 244 tons of unused prescription drugs.
