May Snowstorm on the Way
by K2 News Desk, firstname.lastname@example.org
On the eve of May Day, Wyoming is bracing for yet another snowstorm. As of Tuesday afternoon, a winter weather advisory was posted for much of Natrona county and parts of Fremont county. A winter storm warning was in effect for all of Laramie county and parts of Albany County.
The storm comes just weeks after two separate storms dumped several inches of snow across much of Wyoming, raising mountain snowpacks to near normal levels.
Forecasters expect the new storm to begin around 9 p.m. Tuesday and last until Wednesday night. Cheyenne was expected to receive the brunt of the storm with a foot of snow expected in some parts of the city. Forecasters were calling for 2-5 inches of snow in Casper and 2-4 inches in Riverton.
