Brick & Mortar Retailers Vie For Equality

by Xavier Walton,

The issue between big time Internet retailers and brick and mortar ones has made it's way to the Judiciary House Committee after Senate passed the bill by a vote of 69 to 27 earlier this week.

Last year traditional retailers lost revenues worth upward of $23 billion.  Money that was lost for most states' could've been reentered into those states' economy.

Internet shopping has reached all time highs in recent years and while delivery companies may be enjoying the spike, brick and mortar retailers vie to level the playing field.

Wyoming Senator Mike Enzi who's been working on the Marketplace Fairness Act for more than 10 years is at the forefront of this bill.
