An economic consultant says Wyoming's economy has diversified over the last decade, but adds it needs to do more to stay economically competitive.
Howard Beason, the founder of an Atlanta-based community development firm, says the state should now focus on targeting manufacturing firms looking to move or expand. Beason was the keynote speaker at this week's Wyoming Business Alliance event.
He also suggests that the state should open itself more to young recent college graduates and skilled immigrants from places like India and Eastern Europe.
