The Wyoming Medical Center is one big step closer to finishing its new west tower building. WMC employees were invited to sign the final beam that topped off the new structure on Friday morning.
The 98,000 square foot structure will house state of the art medical care including a new orthopedic center, labor and delivery center, lobby, and cafeteria.
About 45 workers a day were on the construction site, and with the interior work set to begin that number will quadruple.
Framing, masonry, and window work is to be completed over the next several months. The West tower is expected to open in about a year.
