We've all seen just how much damage that deadly tornado in Oklahoma has left behind.

While a tornado of that magnitude is unlikely to hit in Wyoming, the state does see twisters here and there. According to National Weather Service meteorologist Chris Jones, an average of 13 tornadoes occur in Wyoming each year.

Because of the possibility of a tornado, and any other severe weather for that matter, emergency officials must always be prepared for disaster.
