Over the last year, there were more than 300 search and rescue operations across Wyoming. More than 30 of those operations were in Fremont county at an average cost of around $1,000 each.

As K2's Michael Sevren reports, Homeland Security officials are meeting in Riverton this week to determine how much of the money spent will be reimbursed by the state. Fremont county alone has already received more than $10,000 in reimbursements.
