Trojan Trek Raises Money & Awareness for CancerSubmitted By: Liz Cooper, LCooper@K2TV.com
It's that time again to hit the track at Kelly Walsh and it's not for competition.
These people that are on the track are raising awareness and money for cancer research.
The Trojan Trek this year is asking for you to walk for the Angel's program.
This is the second year in a row Kelly Walsh students and teachers are asking for the community to come out to this track and walk for cancer awareness.
During the month of June, every day, 24 hours a day, someone is out here supporting the cause; whether it's for an hour or multiple hours.
And we talked with some walkers about what that time means for them.
For more information on the Angel's Program they are walking for this year, just search the Angel's Program through the Wyoming Medical Center website.
And if you would like to participate in the Trojan Trek, you can call the Kelly Walsh high school to sign up and donate.
