The drive-through at the Starbucks in Sheridan literally became a drive "right-into" the building Thursday morning. Officials say a Toyota SUV driven by a 60-year-old man left the roadway and struck the side of the Starbucks on Coffeen avenue.
The driver was transported to Sheridan Memorial Hospital. The extent of his injuries was not immediately clear.
A Starbucks spokesperson told K2 News that no employees or customers were injured in the accident. The store will remain closed until the company can assess the damage and deternine what repairs are needed to make the building safe to reopen.
The Sheridan Police Department is investigating what may have caused the crash. It's not known if alcohol or drugs played a role.
