The federal government and an air traffic control contractor have settled a lawsuit with the survivors of a Minnesota family that lost four members in a Wyoming plane crash. 41-year old Luke Bucklin, along with his three sons were killed when their small plane went down in the wind river range in 2010. The national transportation board concluded last year that Bucklin's decision to fly the heavily loaded plane over the mountains in snowy weather, probably led to the crash. But, investigators also concluded that advice to fly over the mountains given by the contract controllers at the Jackson airport were also a factor.
