The National Guard has confirmed that a Cheyenne soldier died in a military plane crash last Friday in Afghanistan. 27 year old Chief Warrant Officer Andrew McAdams was killed. Initial reports conclude that McAdams was the pilot of a reconnaisance plane, the plane was on a nighttime mission when it went down. No more details have been released. Three people were on board but, McAdams was the only fatality. He is the 6th member of the Wyoming Army National Guard to die in action since the September 11th attacks. McAdams was a 2004 graduate of Cheyenne East High Sschool and even almost a decade later, teachers there remember him well. As k2's Ameerah Pargo reports, McAdams made an impact up and down the halls of East High.
