Emergency Services Failing?Submitted By: Alexandra Lehnert, firstname.lastname@example.org
Wyoming's emergency care services have been ranked as the worst in the nation. In a recent study done by the american college of emergency physicians, Wyoming received a "d" or worse in the five categories. Each state is graded on their access to emergency care, quality and patient safety environment, medical liability environment, public health and injury prevention, and disaster preparedness. The cowboy state received its best scores in access to emergency care, and also medical liability. On average, the nation received c's and d's in those categories as well. Tomorrow we will have an more on the study done, and will talk to a local hospital and have the full story on why they believe they did so poorly.
