Free Water Well Testing in Lower Wind River Dist.

 Victoria Fregoso reports, vfregoso@k2tv.com

The Lower Wind River Conservation District is offering free well water testing for bacteria.
Those living within the district can pick up a test pack from the office at 508 North Broadway in Riverton.
A test usually costs about $30 but it is free from a grant by the Wyoming Department of Agriculture.
"It's always good to know water quality when you have a problem like flooding which could compromise the quality of the well. But it's also good to know that just on an annual basis, whether or not you have a problem," said Cathy Meyer, the Conservation District Manager.
The deadline to turn in water samples is Thursday May 26 at 3 p.m.
