Roosevelt High Graduates Largest Class Ever

Taylor Viydo reports, tviydo@k2tv.com

Earlier tonight Roosevelt High School graduated 48 students in the class of 2011, the largest in the school's history. The class was unique for not only its size, but also for it's "amazing leadership" as put by one of the school's counselors.

The graduates will be most remembered for their efforts in fighting meningitis infections in Wyoming. The class introduced a bill to the state legislature promoting meningitis immunizations for the state's youth. That bill was backed by State Senator Bill Landen, who was also the commencement speaker for the ceremony.

The class of 2011 also set a record by applying for more college scholarships than any class before it.
