(Sheridan, Wyo.) – A Lander native and his girlfriend are missing in the Bighorn National Forest, and Johnson County Sheriff’s Office Search & Rescue have been looking for them since Monday.

Johnson County Sheriff Steve Kosizek said that Blake Fuhriman, 23, and Alissa DeVille, 22, have been missing since Thursday. They were set to hike in to Blacktooth Mountain from Bighorn Reservoir on Thursday, camp at the base of the mountain, climb to the peak and then return to town late on Saturday. Kosizek said the pair have not been heard from since Thursday. His office was notified Monday morning and SAR has been looking for them ever since.

Anyone with any information about the couple that could be helpful to search teams is encouraged to call 307-684-5581. Kosizek said, however, that dispatch will not be able to provide updates to interested callers.
