Law Enforcement Gives At-Risk Youth One Last Push

K2's Ophelia Young reports,

Camp POSTCARD stands for Camp Peace Officers Striving To Create and Reinforce Wyoming's at-risk kids.

7 children aged around 10 spend 5 days with 12 junior mentors, members of the Wyoming National Guard including General Luke Reiner, and a few dozen peace officers from across the state.

With outdoor activities such as fishing, archery and shooting, the children developed teamwork and leadership skills.

Camp POSTCARD has reached out to 900 children since its start 8 years ago.
