DUI Could End in Manslaughter Charge
A Torrington teenager has been arrested for a DUI, after he was involved in an apparent car crash that killed one of his passengers.
The Goshen County Sheriff's Office says 18-year old Brian Bloom was driving along US Highway 26 in western Nebraska when the accident happened early yesterday morning.
18-year old Johrdan Stone of Henry, Nebraska was also in the car.
Authorities says Bloom drove the vehicle back to his Torrington home and called police.
Paramedics arrived to find stone had died from a head injury.
Bloom could now be charged with manslaughter, in addition to driving under the influence.
