Wyoming State Fair Officials were appalled when they saw footage of the Indiana State Fair stage collapsing, killing five people.
They
say public safety is their first concern and that they've always taken
all possible precaution to prevent a fun time from turning into a
frantic tragedy.
Besides
electrical and mechanical inspections, officials say their largest
concern during the state fair has been tents billowing because of the
wind.
Even then, they were prepared to conjure one of their evacution plans at the slightest threat.
Officials
believe the state fair is even safer than county fairs because state
inspectors are brought in to comb over every detail.
