Cheyenne Shooting Leaves 2 Dead, 1 Wounded

Two people are dead, and another is critically wounded after a shooting last night in Cheyenne.

The alleged shooter, 32-year old Nathaniel Castellanos, later surrendered to police without incident.

Neighbors say they heard screaming from the home on Sullivan drive around 11 o'clock. When police arrived they found one man dead and two women wounded. Both women were transported to the cheyenne regional medical center, where one of them died. The other is currently listed in critical condition.

Castellanos now faces first degree murder charges. State Superintendent of Public Instruction Cindy Hill confirmed that Castellanos is employed with the Wyoming Department of Education as a records and data management specialist.
