K2's Ophelia Young reports, firstname.lastname@example.org:
This morning at the airport...a scene of disaster--dead bodies, emotional family members and suffering victims. Thank goodness it wasn't real, but emergency responders rushed on scene as if it was.
Agencies from the coroner to airport staff, even to a church learned how to work together to bring relief to a potential tragic situation. Volunteers from the community acted as victims. The event took place on airport grounds, but all who participated left with skills they could use in any disastrous situation.
The sheriffs office says the fact that so many agencies appeared to take part in this emergency drill so early in the morning says Wyoming's community cares.
