Fatal Crash Kills Casper Woman


Early yesterday morning, WHP responded to a head-on collision that left one driver dead. 

30-year-old Cynthia Mets from Casper was traveling westbound on US Highway 18-20 in Converse County when she tried to pass a car in foggy conditions. 

Troopers believe she failed to move back into her lane when she saw a tractor-trailer and collided head-on. 

She was ejected from the vehicle and was declared deceased at the scene.
Troopers report Mets was not wearing a seat belt.
