25th Anniversary of UW's NIT Team - Part 1
The University of Wyoming basketball team was a youthful mix of sophomores in 1986. As the season progressed, so did their chemistry and, after earning the right to host the WAC tournament, the Pokes lost a last second heart breaker to UTEP. So, the Pokes had to settle for a bid to the N-I-T instead of the NCAA tournament. It would give Wyoming three home games and, ultimately, a trip to New York City for the N-I-T's Final Four....Jack Nokes takes a look at one exciting month of March in 1986...
